Malpractice Concerns

Picture
THIS IS A WORRY

For years now people have talked to me about this. I have very mixed feelings about malpractice and the many, many issues surrounding this topic.

It is so easy to want to blame someone, lash out, be angry. The physicians, hospital, department, military, the lifestyle, all are targets at one time or another. And remember, insurance may cover second opinions as well.

What I do know for sure is this: if you feel your family member is NOT receiving the proper treatment ... speak up!

If you feel YOU are not receiving proper treatment ... speak up!

AND, if you feel someone or something went wrong, do something about it.

An excellent resource is: Medical Malpractice Center

Healthcare professionals are dedicated, caring people. There are so many checks along the way to prevent a misstep, but for whatever reason, something may get overlooked. Do not take this burden on by yourself. Seek help and guidance.
